Ariana Grande releases live album ‘k bye for now’ after wrapping up Sweetener world tour
Singer calls new release ‘a little something to thank [fans] for everything’

Ariana Grande has released a surprise new live album recorded during her Sweetener world tour.
The album, titled k bye for now, came out on Monday, the day after Grande’s final show.
Grande, who’s been touring since March, teased the album’s release a few hours ahead of time, telling her fans it would come out as soon as the concert ended.
She told her fans the album is “a little something to thank u for everything and to make saying goodbye to this chapter a lil easier”.
True to form, Grande had previously discussed the live album on social media, sharing updates with her fans in the lead-up to its release.
K bye for now is made up of 32 songs, including many from Grande’s two most recent albums, the 2018 Sweetener and the 2019 thank u, next.
Grande was open with her fans about the effects touring had on her, at one point warning them she might have to cancel shows due to health issues.
In July, she wrote in a long Instagram post: ”I feel everything very intensely and have committed to doing this tour during a time in my life when I’m still processing a lot ... so sometimes I cry a lot!”
