During an appearance on The Zach Sang Show, she argued that Americans should have stayed home for longer like some other countries.
“Did we really all need to go to f***ing Saddle Ranch that badly that we couldn’t have waited for the deathly pandemic to pass?” she said.
“We all really needed to put on our cowgirl boots and ride a mechanical bull that bad? We all needed that Instagram post that badly?”
Saddle Ranch, a western-themed bar and restaurant with a famous branch on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, has a bucking bronco.
One influencer, Tik Tok star Dixie D'Amelio who was pictured attending Saddle Ranch this summer, responded to Grande’s comments in an interview posted to the YouTube channel Pap Galore, saying: “Yeah, I saw that. I don't really know what to think. I mean, she's right. She's right. But she's a queen. Love her!”
Grande’s new album Positions came out last week. In a three-star review for The Independent, critic Adam White wrote that the singer’s third record is “woozy and flirtatious but lacking in surprise”.
