From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.A Bros documentary proved to be such a hit that the BBC has invited twin brothers Matt and Luke Goss to host their own show of curated programming in July.
After the Screaming Stops, a fly-on-the-wall look at the duo’s fame during the Eighties along with their ill-fated 2017 reunion, saw them shoot back into the public consciousness last year.
The documentary went viral due to scenes where the brothers bickered over their forthcoming reunion shows and produced a number of widely shared quotes.
A Night In with Bros will be inspired “by their childhood, their musical influences and long careers”, a statement read.
Matt Goss said: “We can't wait to share this special evening on BBC Four with our fans.”
“This night on BBC Four is a way of saying a big thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way,” Luke said.
As part of the Night In, After the Screaming Stops will be shown again during the one-off special.
“Our documentary has been supported from day one by BBC Four... so it was an honour being asked to create an entire night of entertainment,” Luke said.
Matt added: “We're so excited to take a walk down memory lane and share some of our most favourite moments that have led us to this point.”
Cassian Harrison, BBC Four's channel editor, said it was “an absolute joy to welcome Matt and Luke to BBC Four for a whole night of their unique wisdom and warmth”.
A Night In with Bros will air in July on BBC Four.
