Your support makes all the difference.Brooklyn noise-pop band Sleigh Bells hangs onto its position as the most blogged act of the moment, according to The Hype Machine on May 21. Southern US chillwave artist Toro y Moi and American blues-rock trio The Black Keys are is second and third, while Tame Impala and Archie Bronson Outfit makes their debuts in the top ten.
Tame Impala is a psychedelic rock band from Western Australia that formed in 2007 and begins rollout out its debut album, Innerspeaker, on May 21. Hyperbole (hyperbole.tv) praises the album's "dreamy, melt-y, Lennon-y tones," and The New Gay (thenewgay.net) calls the much-shared track "Runway, Houses, City, Clouds" "a druggy seven minute jam that goes from a pop song into lysergic bliss."
Archie Bronson Outfit is a British rock band that released its debut album, the Jamie Hince-producer Fur, in 2004. The three-piece group has followed up with two additional full-length albums, most recently Coconut, which was released March 1. The band's track"Shark's Tooth" has been shared by blog The Daily Growl (thedailygrowl.co.uk) as part of the Music Alliance Pact, by which bloggers from around the world contribute one track per month from their home countries to form an eclectic playlist.
