On February 3, US folk pop band Fleet Foxes maintains the top spot as most blogged musical act according to The Hype Machine. Also holding the second and third spots are rock duo The Kills and US indie folk band Bright Eyes. Also in the day's top ten: The Go! Team and Cut Copy.
Brighton-based pop sextet The Go! Team is a hot topic in the blogs after the release of its album Rolling Blackouts. Bloggers are also circulating the album's lead single, "Buy Nothing Day," featuring Best Coast's Bethany Consentino, described as "just exploding with giddy, garage pop energy" by blogger Music for Rants (musicforants.com).
