Your support makes all the difference.Brooklyn retro-pop duo MGMT has announced details of a tour in the UK and Ireland in September 2010. Tickets go on sale April 9 for the six-date tour leg, which includes performances in Dublin, Glasgow, and London.
The band has recently been performing shows in New York and around Europe in anticipation of the April 12 release of its hyped second album, Congratulations. MGMT's upcoming tour dates include an April 6 concert in Australia, followed by performances in North America, including an April 17 appearance at the Coachella Festival in Indio, California.
The UK/Ireland tour, which will be the band's biggest headline tour in that region, begins September 16 in Dublin, followed by shows in Glasgow, Birmingham, Bournemouth, and Manchester, and ending with two shows at London's Brixton Academy on September 29 and 30.
