American musician Thurston Moore, best known as a member of Sonic Youth, is set to release a solo album, Demolished Thoughts, featuring nine tracks produced by Beck. Bloggers are circulating a new track from the album called "Benediction," and "my oh my is it a beauty," raves blogger Tympanogram (tympanogram.com). "It's a gentle, slinking, folky love song."
American musician and recording artist John Legend recently released a remix of English singer Adele's hit track "Rolling In the Deep." Over the weekend, electronic artist Copycat released a remix of Legend's remix that is also garnering some attention. "I'm a sucker for a good remix, and this one is an absolute beauty," writes blogger The Ruckus (www.whatstheruckus.com) of Copycat's release.
