Your support makes all the difference.Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face" continue to be the most popular tracks among users of Last.fm, the internet radio station that lets users in more than 200 countries listen to music in the site's library. MGMT's "Kids" has taken third place for the week ending April 18, while additional tracks by MGMT have jumped more than 20 spots to make the week's top ten.
Brooklyn duo MGMT released its second album, Congratulations, on April 12, after having offered the album to stream for free on its website. The much-hyped album is the follow-up to 2008's Oracular Spectacular, which went platinum in the UK and Australia and was named best album of 2008 by NME magazine. "Flash Delirium" and "It's Working" are among tracks from Congratulations; those songs jumped 22 and 44 places, respectively, to join the most popular tracks of the week on Last.fm.
Others tracks in the top ten include long-standing favorites by Lady Gaga, Owl City, Ke$ha, and The xx, all of which were slightly displaced due to the enthusiasm surrounding MGMT's new album.
