Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Synths: Joe Mount

Metronomy's frontman is a synths genius. On their second album, Nights Out, he uses these brass-sounding synths, which I thought were pretty sweet.

Vocals: Har Mar Superstar

He's a brilliant performer. I saw him headline the 1234 Festival about five years ago. Fab Moretti from The Strokes drummed for him. I'd read about Har Mar in NME and they said he was crazy. And he was. .

Vocals: Stevie Nicks

I want her to be the main vocalist for the group. She'd add some depth to the vocals to counteract Har Mar's. I'd love to see Fleetwood Mac when they're on tour next year.

Drums: Reni

He's the drummer for The Stone Roses and he's just a great drummer; he has an organic, rubbery feel.

Bass: Peter Hook

With all his work with Joy Division and New Order, he has played many a classic bass line very competently.

Guitar: Steve Vai

He's a bit of a curveball. We'll have to rein him in a bit because otherwise he'll be trying to do guitar solos all over the place. But he comes up with some crazy sounds. He's pretty mental.

Theme Park have put together a Christmas Mixtape that you can stream here: https://soundcloud.com/themepark/tp-christmas-party-mix. They release their debut album early next year
