Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Feet are the latest, terrific act to feature in our fifth season of Music Box sessions.
The London-based band just announced their debut album, What's Inside is More Than Just Ham, which is released via Clapped Records on 2 August.
They've also released a brand-new single, "Ad Blue", and you can watch an exclusive performance of that very song right here, as a special stripped-down version.
Feet say it was the first song that "really became about rhythm, and creating a more dance-orientated experience for our audiences.
"It’s also technically about making unsuspecting cups of tea with a diesel additive as a H2O substitute. We all have bad days”.
They also performed the brilliant "English Weather", which I love for its slacker style, psychedelic hooks and drawling, ironic delivery.
What's Inside is More Than Just Ham was produced by Cam Blackwood [Jamie T] and mixed by the brilliant Alan Moulder [Foals, Interpol].
Check out the session and make sure you check out "Ad Blue" ahead of the band's debut album release.
