Your support makes all the difference.British rock band Duran Duran announced their plans to cancel their entire European and Middle Eastern tour due to frontman Simon Le Bon's throat problems.
The band announced the news on July 1, following previous rescheduling of their UK tour due to the same health problem.
Le Bon is set to undergo physical therapy to repair his damaged throat muscles.
"This has been an extremely difficult decision," said LeBon in a statement made from the UK. "What the doctors don't want me to do, however, is risk any further damage, so they are saying I need to take some more time away from shows to get back to full strength."
No plans have been set to reschedule the tour.
The All You Need Is Now World Tour, in support of the band's 13th studio album, was set to kick off July 14 in Dublin, with 27 additional stops including Munich, Milan, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Ibiza, Oslo, and a final stop in Paris on September 12. The band was also slated to perform two shows at the UK's V Festival in July.
Duran Duran was one of the most successful bands of the 1980s and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
