Your support makes all the difference.New York indie duo Cults rises to the top of the Hype Machine's most blogged artists charts on March 23. Seattle's famed folk-pop band Fleet Foxes reenters the chart in second place, while Canadian pop-rockers The Weekend, from London, Ontario, take third.
Pegged as a hot breakthrough band at Austin's South by Southwest last week, New York two-piece band Cults is described as a "saccharine sweet but still very grunge-tinged act" by The Culture of Me (thecultureofme.com). The duo has a new album set to drop in May, and they just released a track dubbed "You Know What I Mean" that according to blogger Breaking More Waves (breakingmorewaves.blogspot.com) is "divinely nostalgic."
BBC Radio1's Zane Lowe recently premiered a new Fleet Foxes song dubbed "Battery Kinzie" from the band's upcoming and highly anticipated second album, Helplessness Blues . The new track is "a denser Granddad's barn stomper than their last Helplessness Blues leak," according to blogger The Fader (thefader.com).
