Still as relevant today as it was in 1979. A dressing-room belter.
2. Telegram - Aeons
Wicked bassline intro from a wicked band. Looking forward to catching their set at 1234 this year.
3. Dinosaur Jr - Freak Scene
“Sometimes I don't thrill you, sometimes I think I'll kill you, but don't let me f*** up will you, cause' when I need a friend it's still you - what a mess!” Best song for your best mate.
4. No Joy - Hare Tarot Lies
Shangri La's on acid! Another band we're hoping to catch at 1234 this year.
5. PJ Harvey - Chain Of Keys
Her albums never disappoint. This track really stuck out from her latest. Fantastic lyrics.
6. The Sleepy Jackson - Rain Falls For Wind
Massively impressed with their diverse sound from track to track.
7. Elvis Costello and The Attractions - No Action
An incredibly talented and prolific band at their angsty and punky beginnings.
8. Bad Sounds - Avalanche
Saw this band a couple of months ago and they just blew me away. Watch this lot
9. Tribes - We Were Children
Sweet production on this record.
10. Led Zeppelin - D'yer Mak'er
Love Bonham's drums and percussion in this. Nice ska track from zep
