From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Beyoncé and Jay-Z have officially confirmed the rumours: the musical power couple are going on tour together.
The married stars will appear together on stage for their second joint stint: the On The Run 2 Tour.
Their latest tour is a sequel to their 2014 On The Run Tour.
Rumours have also been swirling that Bey and Jay have also made an album together, but they have yet to confirm anything.
Fans became more suspicious of a Bey and Jay tour after dates were leaked then swiftly deleted on Ticketmaster and Beyoncé's official Facebook page, including a July 30 show at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field.
Another hint about something new coming came in the form of an unofficial remix for her 2008 hit "Sweet Dreams" that appeared and subsequently disappeared from her official Tidal and Apple Music pages.
The On The Run 2 Tour will be their first co-headlining tour in four years.
The tour will kick off on June 6 in Cardiff, Wales and will continue through the UK and Europe before coming stateside for a tour during the summer and fall.
Tickets for US and most European shows go on sale March 19, while UK dates are available for purchase March 23.
