"I can't do my show tonight," she told her fans with an especially raspy voice on Instagram. "I'm really, really sorry. I've had a cold for a couple days and I've been pushing through it, and I did my show last night and I loved it. But I pushed too hard and my cold has gotten the better of me.”
The singer announced on Thursday that the has been rescheduled at the same venue on Monday, November 21. Those who are unable to attend the event will receive a full refund.
"I'm really, really, really, really, really sorry to let anyone down. I've enjoyed my tour so much and canceling shows has not been something I want to do, and I've pushed through a lot of things," she said, clearly appearing to be suffering from flu-like symptoms.
"But I've been trying to sing all morning and warming up and nothing's really happening."
"It's the last thing I want to do, but i have to look after myself. I've got so many more shows to do," she continued. "Have a wonderful evening without me."
Adele’s world tour will touch down in Los Angeles at the Staples Center for two nights on Saturday and Sunday.
