Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown comforted a boy after no one showed up to his Stranger Things-themed birthday party - and promised she would come to his next party.

The exchange occurred after Ayen Alambat tweeted photos of her little brother Aaron’s birthday party and wrote: “My brother invited eight of his classmates for his Stranger Things-themed bday party and none of their punk selves showed up.”

Alambat’s tweet received over 212,000 likes and tugged at the heartstrings of thousands of people on Twitter - who began sharing words of comfort for Aaron.

Many people also said they would have come - or promised to come to Aaron’s next party.

One person wrote: "Aw. I hope your brother had an amazing birthday though! Really nice theme."

"I hope he had a great birthday nonetheless! Barb totally would have been there!" another person wrote, referencing a character from the show.

But the icing on the cake was a tweet from Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven on the show Stranger Things.

Responding to Alambat, Millie Bobby Brown wrote: “What!!! Oh well, you can let them all know that everyone on behalf of Stranger Things would’ve come! I think you’re awesome and next year I would like an invite… Please?”

It seems the response from the actress was enough to lift Aaron’s spirits as his sister tweeted in response: “YES MILLIE. AARON LOVES YOU. AND THE WHOLE CAST.”

Brown’s own tweet has received over 245,000 likes - and many are claiming the exchange is the cutest thing they have ever seen.

"This is so cute," wrote one person.

As for Aaron, he seems to be doing just fine.

According to an update from his older sister, Aaron is “chilling now” and “says if his classmates are gonna invite him, he won’t go. That’s his payback.”

Aaron also thanked all the people who wished him a happy birthday.

We imagine that Aaron’s next birthday party will be unforgettable.
