Malibu MOBO tickets
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Love to party? Well here's the chance to win tickets to the event of the year. Malibu are sponsoring the 1998 MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards, at London's Royal Albert Hall on 14 Oct. Nominees appearing on the night will be Mica Paris, Goldie, All Saints and the Lighthouse Family.
We are giving away a pair of tickets to each of the first three entries selected. Winners will attend the exclusive awards ceremony, and then the after-show party at the New Connaught Rooms, where they can mingle with the stars. To top the night off, they will each take home a crate of Malibu. Three runners-up will receive a crate of Malibu Spice, and a further five will win a bottle of Malibu.
To enter, send your name, address and phone number on a postcard, by 13 Oct, to: Mark Borkowski Productions c/o Sarah O'Brien, 2nd Floor, 12 Oval Road, London NW1 7DH. First cards out of the hat after that date will win.
