Your support makes all the difference.Sir: The proposed deportation of Ben James to Nigeria for a minor technical offence committed at the age of 17 is contrary to any concept of justice ("Resident for 16 years, he was given just two days to get out", 2 June).
Mr James has done all that could be expected of a model citizen and, by all accounts, would have continued to contribute to the wellbeing of his adopted country. He is being sent to a country of which he no longer speaks the language of his childhood and where, apparently, he has no home or friends.
