Your support makes all the difference.Sir: As a Gibraltarian I must point out to Greg Wood ("Boom time on the Rock as punters roll up", 17 December) that Gibraltar is not an island. It is attached to the rest of the Iberian Peninsula by an isthmus on which was built Gibraltar International Airport.
I accept that the Spanish government's policy of harassment on the border and within the European Union certainly makes it feel as though one is living on an island. The Ladbrokes office stands on land reclaimed from the sea five years rather than 150 years ago.
