Your support makes all the difference.Sir: The demise of family dining (Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, 2 September) probably has as much to do with lack of time as lack of inclination. Children today are no sooner home from school than they are out again to ballet or singing lessons or karate or the crammer's. Add to that their ever- increasing homework burden and parents' long working hours, and it is a wonder that parents and children ever meet, much less sit down for a meal together.
