On July 23, Salt hits theaters with Angelina Jolie returning in a starring action role. Also new is the family movie Ramona and Beezus taking on The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Despicable Me at the box office.

Angelina Jolie stars in this action-packed thriller about a CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy. The film follows Salt forced to go on the run and tapping into her experience as a covert agent to elude capture. As she attempts to prove her innocence, the woman-hunt opens up questions about her true identity. Also co-stars Liev Schreiber ( X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Repo Men) and Chiwetel Ejiofor ( 2012, American Gangster). Directed by Phillip Noyce ( The Quiet American, Rabbit-Proof Fence, Patriot Games).

Ramona and Beezuz
Adapted from Beverly Cleary's children's books which have sold over 30 million copies, this family film centers on the misadventures of a young girl, played by newcomer Joey King. Selena Gomez, teen star of Disney Channel's hit show Wizards of Waverly Place, plays her big sister and sings the theme song "Live Like There's No Tomorrow." The cast includes Josh Duhamel ( Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), Sex and the City's John Corbett and Sandra Oh ( Sideways, Grey's Anatomy).

Life During Wartime
A sequel to Happiness by indie director Todd Solondz ( Welcome to the Dollhouse), his latest features Allison Janney ( Away We Go), Charlotte Rampling ( The Duchess), Paul Reubens ( Pee Wee's Big Adventure), and Ciáran Hinds (Harry Potter films) in a quirky comedy following the pathos of three very different sisters.
