In anticipation of the 3D sci-fi adventure TRON: Legacy, one of the promotional events occurring this fall before the film's release on December 17 is ElecTRONica at California Adventure, adjacent to the Disneyland resort in Anaheim, California.
Starting this weekend, a dance party will happen Friday to Sunday evenings in a transformed outdoor club environment with music, light shows and live entertainment, replicating the world of TRON: Legacy.
In addition, a recreation of Flynn's Video Arcade, from the original 1982 movie Tron, will offer entertainment for gamers with authentic classic arcade games such as Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, and Centipede. It will also feature a TRON: Evolution video game area.
During Thanksgiving week and Christmas week the ElecTRONica events at the theme park will remain open seven days a week with activities for families.
The sequel to the cult favorite Tron, TRON: Legacy in 3D stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, and Olivia Wilde in a sci-fi story about a virtual world of high-stakes games and a worker seeking to take down the Master Control Program.
