Your support makes all the difference.Gordon's goofy comedy about three hapless men (Bateman, Day and Sudeikis) who want to kill their bullying bosses plays like a slightly smuttier version of an old Abbott and Costello vehicle.
The leads are likeable enough (if on the dim side), but the bosses get all the best lines and run away with the movie. Jennifer Aniston is very funny in an unlikely role as a brassy, sex-crazed dentist preying on her assistant. Colin Farrell is good value, too, as a sleazy, kung fu obsessed company owner, while Kevin Spacey rehashes efficiently enough the ruthless boss routine he first perfected back in Swimming with Sharks days. The sub-Porky's style humour elicits a few guffaws, but a little more wit and subtlety would have helped.
