So the rabbit runs, to a mansion in Beverly Hills and friendship with a shiftless bloke named Fred (James Marsden) who's not yet left his parents' home (Marsden is 37, surely too old even for an inadequate). Throw in some Ninja bunnies, Easter chicks and David Hasselhoff, and you have a film that... doesn't really know what it's doing. The studio asked for an Easter film, and this is what hapless Tim Hill (Alvin and the Chipmunks) and his writers delivered. Flop would be closer.
