When Joanna's (Keira Knightley) husband Michael (Sam Worthington) goes away on business, he's tempted by curvaceous colleague Laura (Eva Mendes), while Joanna herself flirts with an old flame, Alex (Guillaume Canet).

This indie-drama may sound promising, but its protagonists are a bloodless bunch of socialites who'd rather lounge around their designer hotel suites pontificating about adultery than committing it.
