Don't Come Knocking is like one of the four reunions in Broken Flowers stretched to a whole film - Jessica Lange appears as an old flame in both projects. But while the timing may be unfortunate, Wenders' film is so vague and confused that it would be a disappointment in its own right, without any help from comparisons with other films.
