All 24 categories were announced live for the first time this year.
Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said they were keen to celebrate all the contributors in the film industry, which is why they decided to announce all of them live in 2015.
They said: “Each of the three years we’ve produced the show, we have attempted to refresh elements of the process and the telecast. This year, we’re honoured to start a new tradition that celebrates the contributions of all the nomines by announcing all 24 categories.”
The Oscars will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and will take place on Sunday 22 February at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
