Walking Dead actor Steven Yeun lands lead role in new film, probably means he'll get killed off
Could original character Glenn's number be up?

The Walking Dead actor Steven Yeun is about to graduate from supporting television player to film lead with new actioner Mayhem.
The film tells the story of a virus that infects a corporate law office, making people act out their wildest impulses. With attorney Derek Saunders (Yeun) trapped in the quarantined building, he must savagely fight for survival.
Mayhem is to be directed by Joe Lynch (Everly) who is adapting a script written by Matias Caruso.
*Spoilers from The Walking Dead graphic novels below
Yeun has starred in popular AMC zombie drama The Walking Dead since its inception in 2010, his character Glenn Rhee considered a fan favourite; this notion was exemplified by fans' horrified reactions when it seemed he was killed off in the third episode of the show's sixth season.
However, the fact he's been cast in the lead role of a new film could be a sign pointing to the fact his character won't be making it out of the season's remaining episodes alive; with the group on the cusp of meeting villain Negan (Jeffery Dean Morgan) - a clash that doesn't end very well for Glenn in Robert Kirkman's graphic novels - let's just say any scene involving Glenn's character won't be the easiest to watch from here on out.
Still, with The Walking Dead's production team Circle of Confusion on board, it could well mean they just knew Yeun would be the most reliable actor for the job.
By that same token, Lauren Cohan - who plays Glenn's on-screen wife Maggie - starred in recent horror The Boy and still remains on the series (as far as we know, anyway).
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Yeun will star in Mayhem alongside former Home and Away actor Samara Weaving.
