Tom Holland has shared a video of him arriving in Atlanta as he makes his way to the set of Spider-Man 3.

The actor posted to his Instagram Stories as he deplaned. The film officially began production earlier this week with second unit photography – Holland’s arrival means principal photography can begin soon.

“We just landed in Atlanta,” Holland said in the video. “And uh...it's time for Spider-Man 3. Let's go!”

The latest sequel in the Spider-Man franchise will see the return of Jacob Batalon, and also star Jamie Foxx as Electro (a role he previously played in Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2), and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.

Spider-Man 3 is set for release on December 17, 2021.

Holland’s post was made shortly after he unveiled a first look at his character Nathan Drake in Uncharted, another Sony project.

The film version of the hugely popular video game series is serving as a prequel delving into the protagonist’s backstory.

In the photo, Holland is pictured wearing a pair of cargo pants, battered top and leather backpack while standing amongst some wooden ruins.

“It’s nice to meet you, I’m Nate,” Holland captioned the Instagram post.

A second series of pictures were shared by the Uncharted film page, with one image showing Tom Holland on set speaking with Nolan North, the actor who voiced Drake in the video games.

Uncharted is scheduled for release on 16 July 2021.
