Your support makes all the difference.Tom Cruise wanted to land his helicopter in James Corden’s garden whilst filming Mission Impossible 7.
Corden revealed the information on the latest episode of The Late Late Show.
The chat show host commented: “This summer, me and Tom Cruise were texting about meeting up in London.”
“He sent me a text saying, ‘Whereabouts are you staying?’ And I said, ‘I’m staying in St. Johns Wood,’ which is pretty central in London. He said, ‘Cool, can I land my helicopter there?’ And I just presumed he was joking.”
Corden also showed his phone to the camera which displayed the messaged exchange between him and the Top Gun actor.
Cruise text Corden: “We are going to make that happen. Can I land my heli in your yard? T.” to which the Gavin & Stacey star replied with a serious of laughing emojis.
Cruise answered: “Does this mean no?”
The revelations come after Cruise landed his helicopter on a some land in Warwickshire after the local airport was closed.
The seventh instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, is set for release in May 2022 after numerous delays. It also stars Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Rebecca Ferguson and Henry Czerny.
