Also starring Rachel McAdams and Mark Strong, the movie is based on the famous Holmes characters, this time in a battle against evil to save England from a devious plot.
Set to release on December 24 in Malaysia and Singapore and in the US on Christmas Day, the film is the first Sherlock Holmes movie to reach US theaters since the comedy Without a clue in 1988 staring Michael Caine.
The new trailer ( hosted by MTV .com at http://www.mtv.com/videos/movie-trailers/452906/sherlock-holmes.jhtml#id=1625471) reveals more of the plot that involves having about 24 hours to save the country from the evil plans of a devilish nemesis. It also shows Law and Downey Jr at home in their roles as Watson and Holmes.
