John Travolta plays an American spy in Paris who connects with Jonathan Rhys Meyers ( Vanity Fair), an employee of the US Embassy in Paris in an attempt to stop a terrorist attack in the city. Dear John
The adaptation of the novel by Nicholas Sparks, in the vein of his romantic drama The Notebook. Featuring Amanda Seyfried ( Mamma Mia!), Channing Tatum ( G.I. Joe), and Richard Jenkins ( Burn After Reading), it follows the timeless tale of love between a soldier and the young woman he leaves behind.
