From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

As every Walking Dead fan will tell you, there’s one major question they want the answer to; who the hell did Negan kill?

The cliffhanger spurred on numerous explainer videos, with broadcaster AMC no doubt worried that - now filming has begun - spoilers will soon hit the internet.

In an attempt to prevent people finding out who Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s villain killed, each of the 11 actors involved has filmed a death scene.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the producers and director will later choose which character does actually die.

Possible candidates for dying include: Carl (Chandler Riggs), Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Arron (Ross Marquand), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (Steven Yeun).

Season seven will take off directly where season six left off, Negan actor Morgan previously saying: "you'll see who was at the end of that bat and what happened from there.”

Series creator Robert Kirkman previously said the victim is "beloved to everyone.” In the comics *spoilers* Negan kill Glenn, a character who was long thought dead last season.

Meanwhile, previously leaked set photos seemingly proved who was still alive on the show, with certain actors seen on set in costume, still living.
