The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2: Final trailer sees Jennifer Lawrence prepare for war with President Snow
Does the Girl on Fire have what it takes to secure her long-awaited victory against the Capitol?
With just over a month to go until the last ever Hunger Games movie reaches cinemas, the final trailer for Mockingjay Part 2 has dropped online, and it’s got us gagging with excitement.
The dystopian film franchise’s dramatic climax will see Jennifer Lawrence’s heroine confront the evil President Snow in an epic showdown.
“He corrupts everyone and everything. He turns the best of us against each other,” she yells at her troops as pounding drums ramp up the tension. “Stop killing for him! Tonight, turn your weapons, to the Capitol. Turn your weapons, to Snow.”
Judging by this latest clip, fans can expect fierce fighting against terrifying creatures in the sewers, explosions aplenty, and the Girl on Fire looking seriously determined, armed with her trusty bow and arrow, as she prepares for full-scale war against “mortal taps, enemies and moral choices”.
Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Elizabeth Banks and Josh Hutcherson also star in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.
It arrives in the UK on 19 November.
