The iconic actor shared his glowing review of the film in a Twitter post, which has since been liked by nearly 37,000 fans.
He kept his praise brief, stating: “Chris Nolan has done it again. Tenet is the best action film ever.”
Caine stars in the new spy thriller amongst an all-star cast including Robert Pattinson, John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki and Kenneth Branagh.
The British actor has long been a staple of Nolan’s movies, appearing in many of the director’s films since he first starred in 2005’s Batman Begins as butler Alfred Pennyworth opposite Christian Bale.
Besides the Dark Knight trilogy, Caine has also featured in Nolan’s The Prestige, Interstellar, Inception, as well as multiple others.
Since Tenet‘s release in the UK on 26 August, the film has received mixed reviews.
Earlier this week Tom Cruise also shared his appreciation for the thriller on social media after surprising cinema-goers with a secret trip to a screening of the film in London.
