Notably, the first images of Ingvild Deila - who plays Princess Leia underneath all the CGI - on set have been released, featuring her face covered in tracking dots.
There are also more pictures of Guy Henry pre-Tarkin/Peter Cushing CGI, both shots revealing how similar the actors look to those they were mimicking.
Rogue One director Gareth Edwards has been revealing further details about the film’s production, including how the planet Scariff got its name because of a mistake in Starbucks.
Another notable tidbit is how Felicity Jones’s character’s mother was originally going to be a Jedi. “The prologue, at one point a long time ago, was going to be the Empire coming to kill the Jedi,” Edwards said. “And Jyn’s mum was going to be a Jedi.”
Meanwhile, rumoured details regarding Episode VIII: The Last Jedi have been reported online, hinting at three iconic locations making an appearance in the film.
