Just one week following the release of a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 trailer, Marvel has decided to gear fans up for a closer look at what to expect in the upcoming solo outing for the web-slinger with this 17-second snippet.
The full trailer will be released tomorrow, but even this brief clip signals that this will thematically follow in the same footsteps as Marvel's previous Iron Man films.
It shows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) being chided by Tony Stark's bodyguard Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) for larking around with headgear - initially, this feels like Chronicle, only more fun.
The trailer excitingly debuts the character's webbed wings which is gifted to him by Iron Man alter ego Stark - probably in thanks for assisting him in his battle against Captain America in this year's Civil War.
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming will also star Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Marisa Tomei and Fargo actor Bokeem Woodbine who's expected to play the villainous character Shocker.
The film will be released 7 July 2017.
