Another year, another Comic-Con comes to an end. It was quite a blast for those who attended, fans being treated to numerous exclusive trailers, comics, and panels.
One of the highlights was Marvel Studios’ panel on Saturday, debuting the first footage from Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnarok (kind-of).
Unfortunately, none of the footage from either three has yet to hit the internet, but descriptions of what occurred in the Spider-Man footage has emerged, revealing a whole lot more about the tone of the film.
According to IGN, the clip was almost entirely set in high-school, with director Jon Watts saying of the film at the panel: “[Spider-Man’s] a straight-up high school movie [about] a 15-year-old kid. This is the ground level of the Marvel Universe.”
A new piece of concept art was also revealed, showing Spider-Man fighting Vulture, the villain presumed to be played by Michael Keaton.
Also revealed at the Comic-Con panel was the actor taking on Captain Marvel, Brie Larson, as well as the second trailer for Doctor Strange.
