Spider-Man: Far From Home post-credits scenes: What happens and how will it affect future of MCU?

For the first time in a long time, fans don't know which film this is setting up – the studio is yet to reveal its plans for Phase Four – but the series of scenes that are rolled out throughout the credits give some hints as to what the state of the universe will look like.
The big thing to point out is that, going by these three scenes (yes – three whole scenes), the new Phase will have an extremely different feel to what's come before.

First up, the entire world now knows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is Spider-Man. This is the direct opposite of Iron Man's final scene, which saw Tony Stark brazenly reveal himself to be a superhero during a press conference. Instead, the man behind the costume is given up by Quentin Beck/Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) as Peter's enjoying a date with MJ (Zendaya). Mysterio maintains his status as a hero and blames Spider-Man for the carnage caused throughout the film before revealing his identity.
Understandably, this is going to have huge repercussions for Spider-Man going into phase four – and very much positions him as the new Iron Man following that character's death in Avengers: Endgame.
The next scene doesn't so much as change the game of the MCU than stoke excitement. JK Simmons returns as J Jonah Jameson who was by far the best character in Sam Raimi's trilogy. He's back and ready to lead the fight against the web-slinger at the Daily Bugle.
The third post-credit scene will make you want to re-watch Far From Home. It's revealed that the Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) you were watching were in fact Skrulls in disguise – specifically Talos and his wife who we met in Captain Marvel. It makes sense, considering Fury and hill both displayed more erratic behaviour than usual, and the scene shows them contacting the real Fury who's in the middle of a mission in outer space with other nameless Avengers (is this something to do with The Eternals ? – more on that film here).
