According to Deadline, the actor has joined the cast of the Marvel film in an unspecified part.
The outlet confirmed that Crowe would be a part of the movie after he was spotted with some of the cast in Australia.
The Independent has contacted Marvel for more information.
Crowe’s role is “one of many surprises to come out of the film”, Deadline reported citing insiders.

Thor: Love and Thunder, directed by Taika Waititi, will be a sequel to the 2017 Thor: Ragnarok – which itself was preceded by the 2011 Thor and 2013 Thor: The Dark World.
The new film will star Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher.
Thor: Love and Thunder is currently scheduled for release on 6 May 2022 after being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It will form part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, following up on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is set for release on 25 March 2022.
