Porn star Ron Jeremy has been charged with raping three women and sexually assaulting a fourth, according to prosecutors.
The charges stem from separate alleged incidents dating back to 2014 involving the prolific adult movie actor, whose real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt.
In a statement, Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey said: “Ronald Jeremy Hyatt was charged in case BA488059 with three counts each of forcible rape and forcible penetration by a foreign object and one count each of forcible oral copulation and sexual battery. The case was filed for warrant yesterday (22 June).”
Jeremy, 67, is accused of raping a woman at a home in West Hollywood in May 2014, sexually assaulting two women on separate occasions at a West Hollywood bar in 2017, and forcibly raping another woman at the same West Hollywood bar in 2019.
The Los Angeles DA’s office also declined a 2016 allegation against the actor, due to insufficient evidence.
If Jeremy is convicted as charged, he faces a possible maximum sentence of 90 years to life in state prison, with prosecutors currently recommending his bail at $6.6m.
The case against Jeremy remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Jeremy has been dubbed the world’s most famous living male porn star, having acted in thousands of adult films.
