The actor and musician, who is the daughter of Michael Jackson, claimed Nicholas Lewis Stevens arrived at a recording studio where she was working in June, court documents lodged in Los Angeles state.
He is alleged to have told her he had visited the studio on multiple occasions and had once waited 15 hours to see Jackson.
The documents further claim that a friend of Jackson's confronted Stevens and that, after the police were called, he told Jackson, "by midnight it will all be over... ", before making reference to a shotgun.
It was also alleged that Stevens had tweeted Jackson to say they were soul mates.
A judge has granted a temporary restraining order which means Stevens must stay at least 100 years away from Jackson and refrain from contacting her in any way until another hearing on 24 July.
