Your support makes all the difference.Jimmy Kimmel has responded to Trump's insult about the Oscars for having low ratings.
The president said in a series of tweets this week, "Problem is, we don’t have Stars anymore - except your President (just kidding, of course)!”
At first the Oscars host hit back at the president on Twitter, saying that Trump was the "lowest rated president in history."
But Kimmel didn't stop there - he brought up Trump's comments during his monologue during his show Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night.
He said, "Trump always has a problem with the Academy Awards, which is surprising because I really think he would love the best picture winner, ‘The Shape of Water.’"
The movie, if you haven’t seen it, it’s about a monster who has sex with a woman who can’t talk about it," Kimmel explained. "Basically, it’s like his life story. Right?"
The comment was in reference to the numerous sexual assault and misconduct allegations against Trump.
He also joked that his tweet got "twice as many likes" as Trump's tweets.
The Jimmy Kimmel Live host then lashed out at Donald Trump Jr, who used an emoji to show he didn't watch the awards show.
Kimmel quipped, "You know that’s an authentic Trump hand because it’s gold and tiny."
The host had made many jokes about the president during the Oscars, so it's not surprising Trump lashed out.
