Your support makes all the difference.A third trailer for David Fincher’s Gone Girl has been released, giving a further insight into Nick and Amy Dunne’s destructive marriage.

Based on Gillian Flynn’s best-selling thriller, the film sees Ben Affleck portray former journalist Nick Dunne and Rosamund Pike play his resentful wife Amy.
The plot follows the couple’s marriage breakdown that leads to the disappearance of Amy on the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary, with Nick implicated in her apparent murder.
The new trailer shows the couple on their first date in a restaurant in New York, when Nick tells Amy: “I’m the guy to save you, from all this awesomeness.”
It then cuts to an ominous voiceover from Amy, who says: “The man of my dreams, this man of mine, may truly…kill me.”
The fast-paced trailer, set to a score by Fincher favourites Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor, shows the events that lead the community to believe Nick has killed his wife.
In one scene, he is asked why he “bumped up Amy’s life insurance to $1.2 million”, to which he screams: “Because she told me to!”
The film also stars Neil Patrick Harris, Carrie Coon, Scoot McNairy, Missi Pyle and Tyler Perry.
Gone Girl is released in the UK on 3 October.
