The very first combined MTV Movie and TV Awards is almost here, various favourites from the last year nominated for the teen-friendly prizes.

This year’s show not only combines both television and movies, but also marks the first year categories Trending and Best Musical Moment have been included.

Leading the awards show is Get Out with six nominations, closely followed by Beaty and the Beast and Stranger Things, both with four. Here’s all the basic information you need to watch the show.

When? Sunday 7 May, 7pm East Coast/Monday 8 May, 1am GMT.

Who is hosting? Adam DeVine.

Can I watch online? Yes. MTV.com are hosting the show, but you need a subscription.

Can I watch on TV in the US? The show will be simulcast on MTV, Spike, Comedy Central, VH1, BET, TV Land, MTV2, and MTV Classic.

Can I watch on TV in the UK? Yes. On Monday, the show will be broadcast at 8pm on the MTV channel.
