The Birdman star is in talks for Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man movie Homecoming, according to Variety, and is being eyed to play the film’s villain.
Update: It's been rumoured he will play the Vulture. Literally a birdman.
Tom Holland is taking over from Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, with Marisa Tomei set to play Aunt May and Zendaya signed on for a mystery role.
Keaton famously played Batman in Tim Burton’s 1989 film of the same name, a performance that was obviously crucial to his being picked to star in Birdman.
The actor’s next film will be The Founder, which sees him play McDonald’s founder Ray Kroc and is being tipped to do well come awards season.
