Just over a month ago, in a surprise casting announcement, Channing Tatum was revealed to be joining Kingsman sequel The Golden Circle.

The actor is presumed to be playing a US spy, as the film see’s Taron Egerton’s Eggsy travelling state-side, presumably helping the CIA - the head of which will be played by Halle Berry.

Filming for the sequel has begun in London, with set leaks showing a suave looking Tatum, wearing a bowler hat and sophisticated glasses.

Little is known about the film’s plot, although it has been hinted that Colin Firth’s character will likely return while Mark Strong will be back as Merlin.

Other additions to the cast include Game of Thrones’ Pedro Pascal as a character called Jack Daniels. Julianne Moore is also said to be in talks to play the villain and Elton John is rumoured to have a cameo.

Here's everything we know about The Golden Circle.

Kingsman: The Secret Service was an unexpected box office hit, grossing $412.4 million worldwide on a budget of $81 million. The sequel is set to arrive in UK cinemas on 16 June 2017.
