Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Damnit, someone really needs to keep Seattle’s infants in check - they’ve been stealing important FBI data again - data that can only be recovered by Dolph Lundgren heading to a local school and giving a one-dimensional performance.

The first trailer for the Kindergarten Cop sequel, which most probably didn’t know was even happening, dropped today.

The Universal film was directed by Don Michael Paul (Jarhead 2: Field of Fire) and stars Lundgren, a similarly bulky, if inadequate, replacement for Arnie.

Let’s relive him hula-hooping in the first movie:

Here’s the synopsis, courtesy of that trailer voiceover guy who sounds like a cuddly bear:

“At Seattle’s most prestigious elemental school children are given the guidance they need to become good citizens of the world. Fortunately this academy just hired the perfect teacher.

“Dolph Lindgren is Kindergarten Cop 2. He’s an undercover FBI agent looking for stolen data, and one of these kids holds the key. To uncover the truth he’ll have to use every trick in the book."

Kindergarten Cop 2 is skipping a theatrical release and arrives on DVD and Digital HD on 17 May.
