From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Bryce Dallas Howard has posted pictures of enormous bruises she incurred while filming stunts for Jurassic World: Dominion.

In images on Twitter, Dallas revealed bruises on her arms and thigh, with the caption: "Raise your hands if you’re happy to be doing stunts again!!"

The star shared the photos after her co-star Chris Pratt had urged her to show people the “crazy sick bruises”.

"Show them the pictures of the bruises!!!" the actor tweeted. "Show them!!!"

Filming for Jurassic World: Dominion resumed in London this month after production was shut down earlier in the year due to coronavirus.

Jeff Goldblum recently said that the cast of Jurassic World: Dominion have been given “109 pages” of safety rules to read ahead of filming resuming.

The core cast from the original Jurassic Park will feature “all the way through” forthcoming sequel Jurassic World: Dominion. Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Goldblum are all set to reprise their characters from the 1993 film, alongside Howard and Pratt.
