Your support makes all the difference.Having recently been named the year’s highest earning actor, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has become intent on becoming the face of every upcoming film franchise.
One of those is Jumanji which Johnson is rebooting alongside the likes of Kevin Heart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, and Jack Black. The actor posted the first concept art from the film onto his Instagram account, channeling an Indiana Jones look.
Alongside the image, Johnson revealed the character’s name, "The Smoldering" Dr. Bravestone, while also questioning where his ‘pecs went’ in the artwork.
Johnson has been quick to point out that this version of Jumanji will be a continuation as opposed to a reboot of the classic family film starring Robin Williams and Bonnie Hunt.
The film won’t be the only rebooted franchise Johnson leads in the near future; he’s also starring in Baywatch alongside Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra, and Alexandra Daddario.
Recently, the actor made headlines after a rather public row with Vin Diesel on the set of Fast 8, various reports emerging that the two shared harsh words when filming following an Instagram post by Johnson calling a fellow cast member a ‘candy ass’.
